​Born in Rome (Italy),  after a PHD in Communications,  Francesco Sauta started his career as an editor (AVID, FCP), working with directors, ranging from music videos, commercials, documentaries & feature films.

In 2006 he moved to the USA and lived in New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles where he currently resides. 

He Joined the IATSE Local 600 in 2008,

and became certified as Phantom Tech in 2014
